Sound Therapy
Initial assessment £560
Sound Therapy is the most widely used tinnitus management strategy around the world and has been shown to provide significant benefit to tinnitus suffers compared to control groups.
What's involved?

Over10 weeks we use sound therapy to help manage your tinnitus. This therapy involves listening to specific sounds or tones that can help reduce the perception of the ringing or buzzing in your ears. In the first few weeks, we'll focus on understanding your tinnitus better and identifying which sounds or frequencies are most effective for you. This might involve trying different types of sound therapy, such as white noise, nature sounds, or specific tones. As we progress into the middle weeks of the plan, we'll start to tailor the sound therapy more precisely to your needs. This could mean adjusting the volume, frequency, or type of sounds you're listening to in order to maximize their effectiveness in masking or distracting from the tinnitus. Towards the end of the 10 weeks, we'll work on incorporating strategies for managing tinnitus in your daily life, such as relaxation techniques or lifestyle adjustments that can help reduce stress and improve your overall well-being. Throughout the entire process, we'll closely monitor your progress and make any necessary adjustments to the therapy plan based on how you're responding. Our goal is to provide you with tools and strategies that can help reduce the impact of tinnitus on your life and improve your quality of life overall."
Initial assessment (£60)
The first step is an initial assessment (1 hour appointment), where our Audiologists examine both of your ears, perform a hearing test and tinnitus pitch match. We also carry out questionnaires and ask in depth about how the tinnitus is affecting your life and wellbeing. Based on your test results and discussion we can recommend a treatment that's tailored to your needs; our treatments are evidence based, which means they have been studied, peer reviewed and shown to provide benefit to tinnitus sufferers in controlled studies.
